DESCRIPTION:Continue the tradition of running the 5th Street Mile on Canada Day!\nWe will be running the parade route, down 5th Street before the parade. This is a fun, family-friendly, fast mile.\nRegister before 6:00 pm, June 30th. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS.\nBib Pick-Up: Starts at 8:30 am at Lake Trail Community School parking lot (805 Willemar Ave., Courtenay.)\nRace Start: 9:30 am at the corner of 5th Street and Woods Ave.\nTiming: There will be no official timing system this year, but there will be a timer over the finish chute reflecting how much time has elapsed since the race start. Look up as you finish!\nRefreshments, Draw Prizes, & Awards: Immediately after the race at Simms Millennium Park. All kids receive a freezie award!\nDue to safety concerns, no dogs, bikes, or skateboards. Strollers at the back.\nQuestions?
