POST-RACE MESSAGE FROM THE RACE DIRECTOR

On behalf of the organizing committee, congratulations to the 701 finishers of the 2025 Comox Valley RV Half Marathon. The weather conditions made it was a challenging day for racing. It was amazing to see all of you persevere, building your resilience! The race organizers hope that you had an enjoyable day on our course, realizing your goals, and making new friends. We give special thanks to Comox Valley RV who has been the title sponsor for the Half Marathon for many years. We also want to give a shout out to Mainroad North Island Contracting LP for going above and beyond, providing traffic control to keep the race course safe for everyone.

Thank you to over 100 volunteers and the local neighbourhoods for sharing their roads with us. We also want to recognize and thank our sponsors and supporters listed below. Without them, we would not be able to put on such a great event. Please patronize them when you are able.

PRE-RACE MESSAGE TO PARTICIPANTS

The Comox Valley RV Half Marathon organizing committee is excited to host you for our 2025 race. Our fast course, great organization, and amazing post-race refreshments will not change. Whether you are a competitive or recreational runner, experienced, or first time racer, we will do our best to make this a memorable and fun event for you. Challenge yourself! Enter now, get training, and we will see you there on race day!

SCHEDULE:

• 09:00-10:30 – Bib pick-up open
• 10:00 – Early start for runners taking longer than 2 1/2 hours to finish.
• 11:00 – Main start
• 12:30 – Post-race refreshments
• 13:00 – Awards
• 13:30 – Course closes

SAFETY:  We will abide by British Columbia Provincial Health Orders active at the time of the race. Traffic control will be in place. Runners are advised to follow course markings, adhere to the directions of traffic control personnel and to obey the rules of the road.

ACCOMMODATION PARTNERS:

The Coast Courtenay Hotel will offer discounted pricing to any guest who either calls or emails the hotel desk and mentions the Comox Valley RV Half Marathon or Comox Valley Road Runners.
