Canada Day 5th Street Mile 2023
Continue the tradition of running the 5th Street Mile on Canada Day!
We will be running the parade route, down 5th Street before the parade. This is a fun, family-friendly, fast mile.
Register before 6:00 pm, June 30th. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS.
Bib Pick-Up: Starts at 8:30 am at Lake Trail Community School parking lot (805 Willemar Ave., Courtenay.)
Race Start: 9:30 am at the corner of 5th Street and Woods Ave.
Timing: There will be no official timing system this year, but there will be a timer over the finish chute reflecting how much time has elapsed since the race start. Look up as you finish!
Refreshments, Draw Prizes, & Awards: Immediately after the race at Simms Millennium Park. All kids receive a freezie award!
Due to safety concerns, no dogs, bikes, or skateboards. Strollers at the back.
